Warranty Agreement
Three (3) Year Warranty on:
Professionally installed frameless shower glass, glass office walls, accompanying hardware, and accessories selected by customer at time of purchase.
Limitation of Damages
In no event shall Maryland Frameless Shower/A Touch of Brass, Inc. (MFS/ATOB, Inc.) be liable for consequential damages for breach of this warranty.
Warranty Coverage
Maryland Frameless Showers/A Touch of Brass, Inc. warrants glass and metal hardware to be free of all defects in material and workmanship for 3 years of completion date of installation. This warranty extends to the original purchaser only.
Within the period of this warranty, (MFS/ATOB, Inc.) will repair or replace, free of charge; any part proving defective in material or workmanship. All warranty repairs and service will be performed by an on-staff installer at site of installation.
Glass Coating Warranty: Warranty for protective coating is provided by coating manufacturer. See manufacturer website for details.
One (1) Year Warranty on Plastic Seals (including bottom sweeps and shower door stops)
All expenses related to replacing or repairing a defective part under this warranty shall be assumed by (MFS/ATOB, Inc.) except for the following expenses, which shall be assumed by the buyer:
Acrylic sweeps, seals, and doorstops are covered for a period of one (1) year from the time of installation. Replacement of these materials is considered routine maintenance of shower glass and requires replacement periodically. These items are considered the owner’s responsibility after the initial warranty has expired. These materials are readily available for purchase from Maryland Frameless Showers/A Touch of Brass, Inc. and can be easily replaced by the purchaser.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to any costs, repairs, or services for the following: Repairs necessitated by use other than normal home use.
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, or improper installation.
- Corrective work necessitated by repairs made by anyone other than a (MFS/ATOB, Inc.) service technician.
- Scratches due to cleaning or misuse.
- This warranty does not cover mold or mildew that accumulates on silicone between glass panels or hardware through lack of proper cleaning.
- Corrosion on mirrors due to water exposure

How to Obtain Warranty Service
The buyer must notify (MFS/ATOB, Inc.) by contacting (MFS/ATOB, Inc.) via phone, email or website inquiry of any defect, malfunction, or nonconformity promptly upon discovery. An authorized service technician shall visit the buyer’s home for the purpose of repairing or replacing the defective part upon MFS/ATOB installer and customer availability.
